How it works for cleaners

You're self-employed, and we mean it. You choose which jobs you take, and saying no is never held against you. There are no fines, anywhere in our agreement. No uniform. You can send a vetted substitute if you can't make a job. Either side can end things with 7 days' notice.

What we ask: turn up when you said you would, clean to our checklist, and take the photos.

Our checks

  • A ten-minute phone call with us
  • Basic DBS check (£20, paid back after your 5th job)
  • Right-to-work check
  • Two references we phone
  • A paid trial clean

Required if you are not attaching a CV. A few lines is plenty.

Do you have the right to work in the UK?

Cleaning jobs in Coventry

Coventry is the next city we open. If you live in Coventry and clean already, apply now and we'll call you for a chat. When we start taking bookings there, our first Coventry cleaners get first pick of the work, including the end-of-June student move-outs, the busiest fortnight of the year.

Questions from cleaners

Do I pay for my DBS check?

You pay the £20 for a basic DBS check up front, and we pay it back after your fifth job. If you already have a recent basic DBS certificate, tell us.

How does pay work?

End-of-tenancy work is paid per job, every Friday by bank transfer, for jobs completed with photos that week. Regular clients pay you directly for your hours at the rate you agree. We never touch that money and never charge you a fee.

Can I choose my jobs?

Yes. We text job offers to cleaners in the area and you accept the ones you want. Saying no is never held against you.

Can someone else do a job for me?

Yes, if they're a vetted cleaner we've approved as your named substitute.

Do I need my own insurance?

We encourage it but don't require it. We'll talk you through what's sensible on the call.

Are there fines or uniforms?

No fines, anywhere. No uniform either. Turn up when you said you would and clean to the checklist.

I don't have a CV. Can I still apply?

Yes. Fill in the form and tell us about your experience in a few lines, or text your name, postcode and how long you've been cleaning to 07340 734325.
